Stowe Mountain Resort - Take the easy way up in the famous Stowe Gondola. Spectacular views await you near the peak of Vermont's highest mountain. From the Gondola, access hiking trails or stop for a "peak" lunch experience at the Cliff House restaurant! Or zig and zag your way along the historic Auto Toll Road to the summit ridge of Mt. Mansfield where stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains await you. For the more daring, experience an exhilarating 2,300-foot ride down Spruce Peak on the Stowe Alpine Slide or the thrills of the Launch Zone, featuring an outdoor half-pipe, spine ramp and street scene.

Burke Mountain - Burke Mountain is a magnificent ski mountain. The exciting pitches of the trail system encompass 2,000 vertical feet, great vistas of the unspoiled Vermont landscape and a top-to-bottom snowmaking system. Cross-country skiers will find 80 km of trails. The atmosphere at this ski area is relaxed and uncrowded. People of all abilities enjoy memorable skiing at this area, often labeled "New England's best kept secret."

Lake Willoughby - Lake Willoughby, also known as the Lucerne of America, is considered by some the most beautiful lake in Vermont. It is known for its crystal clear water, natural sand beaches and great fishing. If you enjoy the outdoors, this place is for you. Bicycling, mountain biking, fishing, ice fishing, hiking and some of the best ice climbing in North America await you. There's also skidooing, Nordic and alpine skiing at nearby Burke Mountain, nature walks, wildflowers, birding, leaf peeping, canoeing, windsurfing, scuba diving, and swimming. There's also peace and quiet, stunning views and sunsets.

Victory Basin Wildland - Looking for a loon or an osprey, or how about a moose or lynx? This is the place! In addition to the 25-acre bog with rare plant life, Victory Basin encompasses 1800 acres of wetlands, 1084 acres of hardwoods, 71 acres of clearings and old fields. Anglers can catch wild brook trout, salmon and other game fish. Mountain bikers are discovering the trails and logging roads that crisscross the smaller mountains.

Crystal Lake State Park - Crystal Lake State Park offers almost a mile of sandy swimming beach. The 778-acre deep cold waters of the lake offer an opportunity to catch rainbow trout, lake trout, yellow perch, chain pickerel, small mouth bass and panfish. Or rent a boat and explore. Cross-country skiing is  permitted in winter.      

Stowe Recreation Path, Stowe -  An internationally recognized 5.5 mile greenway paved for non-motorized recreation with numerous picnic and swimming areas.  Optional quiet path near village is reserved exclusively for walkers and joggers.  To see larger map, click HERE

Stowe Soaring, Stowe -- Few places surpass the scenery beneath the quiet        
experience of a glide above the Green Mountains.  For many visitors to Vermont,
this was a first.  Come give it a try -- if you are unsure, at least visit them to learn

Dogsled Adventures, Morrisville -- The activity of running dogs is getting more and more popular as people are discovering the distinctive appeal     
of being swiftly transported by dog sled through the picturesque
 snow-covered wilderness. There really is nothing like being
pulled or riding the runners behind a friendly and enthusiastic
 team of sled dogs.

Snowmobile Vermont, Stowe -- If you'd rather explore the wonderful Vermont            
 countryside by snowmobile, these tours take you through miles of snow covered blue-spruce woods on all new 550cc Polaris snowmobiles with heated handle grips.  It is truly a winter wonderland of fun.
